Firetube Premium in stainless steel, the flame burning in the glass tube

Design

Three parts. One fire.

The Feuertube consists of a main body, a glass tube and a hat. It fits together in a few minutes – no tools needed.

  1. 01 Hat

    The hat directs the heat.

The reflector sits on top. It closes off the glass tube and throws the heat back down to where people are sitting, rather than into the night sky.

  2. 02 Glass tube

The glass tube shows the flame.

The draught in the tube twists the flame into a vortex, visible all the way round. Fireproof sealing cords on the body and hat stop the glass from touching the metal – even in transit.

  3. 03 Main body

The main body carries the fire.

The 3 kg pellet tank sits at the side, with the grate and ash drawer below and the ventilation grille at the back. On castors, it rolls to wherever your guests are sitting.

Two versions

Stainless or black.

Firetube Premium is made of rust-free stainless steel, with a stainless-steel hat and a wheeled base. Firetube Classic is powder-coated steel in black, with stainless-steel handles – in the evening it fades into the dark and only the flame remains.

Operation

Fill, light, sit back.

  1. 3kg

    Fill

Pour pellets into the tank at the top of the main body. One fill lasts around two hours.

  2. 30s

    Light

Light through the opening in the ring with the supplied torch for 20–30 seconds. After about 20 minutes the fire is burning fully.

  3. ½

    Adjust

Rear ventilation grille open: the flame rises to the hat. Closed: it drops to half height.

  4. 6h

    Empty

The ash falls into the drawer at the front. Very little is left – emptying every 5–6 hours is enough.

FAQ

Quick answers.

All questions
How long does the Feuertube burn on one fill?

The tank holds 3 kg of pellets, which lasts around two hours on average. You can top up at any time while it is burning.

Do I need electricity or gas?

No. The Feuertube burns wood pellets only. A small gas torch is supplied for lighting.

How do I adjust the flame height?

With the ventilation grille at the back: open, the flame rises to the hat; closed, it drops to about half height.

What happens in the wind?

If a gust blows the flame out, smoke is produced. Hold the torch to the ignition opening for a second and the Feuertube will carry on burning.

Can the Feuertube be left out in the rain?

No. Protect it from rain and dew both in use and when idle. Do not use it in the rain; when idle, use a cover or roll it to a dry spot.
